Kabinet Mirage Band is one of the projects of the multidisciplinary theatre company Kabinet Mirage. This band was formed with the goal of making music for theatre and circus shows, creating a wide palette of atmospheres, bringing unity and tightness to the whole show and adapting to each act in order to support it with the right dynamics. Directed by Ibon Goitia, he adapts the ensemble and instrumentation depending on the needs of each performance, for playing original or covered music. They can play a wide range of music genres and use a developed system of hand signs to communicate changes instantly, adding a lot of freshness and magical moments to the show. This tool is specially useful in circus shows, where the interactions with the audience, the unexpected happenings and changes during the acts need a good capacity to react from the musicians.
